UK Summa partner
Flatbed, laser and roll-fed cutting for graphics, packaging, textiles and industrial production. We demonstrate on your own material, install and commission the machine, train your operators and service it afterwards.
Summa
Summa build flatbed, laser and roll-fed cutting systems in Belgium, and have done since 1988. They are well made and they hold their accuracy, which is most of the reason we took the line on.
The rest of the reason is the part that comes after. We have spent thirty years keeping other manufacturers’ cutting and pre-press equipment in production, often long after the manufacturer stopped. Buying a Summa from us means the people who sold it are the people who maintain it.
Cutting systems
It depends on the material, the finished product and the volume. Four ranges, and if you are not sure, start with the material guide below or send us a sample.
Modular flatbed cutting for sheet material, rigid board and roll stock. The range our partnership is built around.
Range details →Tangential sheet cutting for packaging, signage and short-run finishing. Invicta, Optima, Integra and Omnia.
Range details →Laser cutting for textiles, soft signage and composite raw materials, where a sealed edge matters or knife wear eats the margin. L1810 and L3214.
Range details →Roll-fed vinyl cutting and print-and-cut. S One and S Class 3.
Range details →Range details currently link to Summa’s own product pages. Dennison range pages for F, V, L and S are in build.
Materials
The module drives the motion and the tool defines the cut, so the material is what decides the machine. Filter by type or type in what you have. Thickness, format and volume will refine it, which is what a test cut is for.
BoardStructural sheet that has to be held flat and cut clean. Foam PVC, display board, corrugated, ACM, MDF.
FlexibleRoll stock that has to stay registered around every contour. Vinyl, banner, textile.
SpecialtyEverything that needs its own technique. Composites, rubber, leather, metals, protective films.

Nothing here matches that, which does not mean we cannot cut it. or send us a sample.

Why Dennison
A cutting table is only as good as the fifth year of owning it. Wear gets managed or it does not, tolerance drifts or it gets brought back, and that is a property of whoever looks after the machine rather than of the machine.
One engineering business demonstrates it, installs it, commissions it, trains your operators and maintains it. The service history stays against the machine, so whoever attends knows what has been done to it.

Featured system
Summa’s newest modular flatbed platform, for production that moves between materials during a shift. Two interchangeable modules, the Fast+ for speed and fine detail and the Core+ for mixed production with high downforce, over a tool range that runs from kiss cutting vinyl to routing rigid panel.
Summa’s own film of the F Series Vantage. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Watch it on YouTube instead if you prefer.
Before you buy
We keep a working Summa machine on site. Send us the material or bring it with you, and we will cut it in front of you. Nobody should sign for a cutting table on the strength of a specification sheet.
What it is, how thick, what format and how much of it you expect to produce. That usually settles flatbed against laser on its own.
A test cut on our own machine, with a written note of what we found and what it took to get there.
Machine, tooling, installation, operator training and service, costed together and as a daily figure if that helps.
After the sale
The same team throughout, and the same cover we put on every other make we look after.
Delivered, sited, commissioned and handed over working by our own engineers.
On your machine, on your material, with your people. Summa trained engineers doing the training.
Bronze, Silver and Gold. Planned maintenance and breakdown cover matched to how hard you run the machine.
Summa spares and consumables supplied direct from Summa, never a third-party equivalent.
